Comping Update

OK, so I have not done a post for a while. I have not been winning much either. I have not been entering many as I have been having some personal health issues but feeling a bit better now and back on the comping front :) and decided to update my Blog too!

Firstly was Zaggora gym top. Quite a lot of people won something from Zaggora in their recent Facebook competition. In the past I have won HotPants so these will make a great addition. Really happy with this and I will be using this when I go to the gym :)

I then got an email from a competition that I entered from the Christmas Advent comps telling me that I had won this fab Edith and Bob tea towel and print.. both worth £33.

 There was competition that I had entered that did require a bit of work. I had to log in daily for just less than a month. Play games and invite friends. Not my usual type of comp at all but it was a new site running their OWN comps every other day with independent draws and I could see not many of my friends had joined the fun and seen these new competitions on these pages. The page is great too as unlike so many pages out there they do not pass your details on nor do they spam you :D I try to be as wary as possible of those kind of sites as I HATE HATE HATE spam. Anyway.. I won with winneroo. I have yet to win one of their fab comps that they win through the week but see lots of my friends do!!! I won the monthly though and was lucky enough to bag £50 of Love to Shop vouchers. 

Another win/bonus/perk from Shopcade. I managed to "bag" a Cath Kidston bag :D I am one very happy lady with this :) hehehe I LOVE Cath Kidston!

A couple of little wins :D

I had a couple of Twitter wins from a twitter Friday recently. Both from my Birthday weekend which was an added bonus ;)

A few new goodies in the post ;)

Another win came through from an Advent competition :D A lovely handmade scarf. This came through packaged so prettily and smelling of a lovely coffee bean aroma which really gave me the sense of the designers studio ;) Very New York Chic ;)

Next I won just in time for my Birthday was some very cute nail foils from Miss DigiNails. These was a limited edition from a lovely collection they have. Now, I was thinking at first these are going to be quite hard for me to apply. I have had nail foils before, the Minx ones and Nails Inc salons in House Of Fraser which I LOVE! Toes I have always thought I could handle doing myself but hands would be another thing!
The ones from Miss DigiNails came in a lovely compact sleek package with full instructions on the inside. They was very simple to follow and the owner also mailed with a few tips, although the instructions on the inside of the pack was enough ;) All you need is a hairdryer! ;) They did not last anywhere near as long as the Minx but then they are only £5 for a set and currently on offer on buy on get one free!! Minx at H of F is £35! Which is a bit shocking! The ones at Miss DigiNails are a HUGE bargain and are very good quality and great for a week with a bit of touch up ;) The designs are fab too and far better than what they offer at Minx ;)

Wednesday 30th Jan

With January closing to an end I have a few more wins come through the post.
Firstly a motorbike display in a wooden box. This was actually from an Advent that I won and was surprise win!
For me this is FANTASTIC as this is another name crossed off my Christmas list... my husbands step dad! He LOVES things like this and is going to look fantastic in his music room (which has an American theme) along with all his motor bike memorabilia from his younger days! The perfect gift my husband says! So I am very happy with this one.

Next was another Advent win that has just arrived.. a lovely selection of posh coffee! The coffee maker was a lovely surprise in the box as they did not mention this in the win! Lovely bonus!

News on the comping front

It seems to be quit quite for me at the moment on the comping front :( I have had the odd few bits through but nothing major.

Seeds from and Advent comp that I entered... my dad is so going to LOVE these and I am sure all of my family.. especially myself, are going to enjoy tucking in! :D They are called Tomatillo.

I managed to win on the Weird Fish competition 2x.. well I actually won a couple of discount codes too. I don not know if anyone else agree's but wow.. that comp needs A LOT of attention. But hey.. I did managed to win :) strangely I found both win boxes one after the other!!! Unfortunately the hats do not fit my son but I am not one for wasting so these are going in my school pile and will be donated to the Holy Cross school fair for raffle prizes :) (I usually add freebies I do not want or runner up "booby" prizes I get so these will be some good ones to add... they are all fun though and everybody loves them at the fairs.. :) This Christmas I handed in over sized Aldi chef hats... quite funny to see a few men wearing them ;)

I have had a few good freebies though! The first being from Mama Mio. Worth £23. I have to say I have been very impressed with this! The face wash is amazing! It actually takes of all my make-up so that when I come to using my eye make-up remover routine after, there is nothing left to remove!

My other freebie is my best by far and I will probably never top it. I actually managed to bag a MUUBAA designer leather jacket on Shopcade worth £379! I have fallen in love already!! It is soooooo soft, the cut is to die for. The quality really is AMAZING. MUUBAA has quite a big celeb following inc the likes of Cheryl Cole, Minnie Driver, Audrina Patridge, Christina Aguilera, Laura Whitmore. Oh I do not know who else haha,

First Time Post..

Ok.. so here we go. I am totally new to this but have been thinking of it for a while. I have had so many questions on Facebook asking me things like what do you win when you "comp" and the such like. I have been taking a some pics when I win things but not actually ding anything with them haha. Well now I will have a go at trying to show you at the kind of things you can win by joining in on this great "hobby".

Last year I could not even tell you my "worth" of comp wins as I did loose track but can tell you my best win of all was a trip to the Caribbean which I ended up taking advantage of and getting married to my lovely husband on!! We went on an all inc win with the Daily Telegraph to Antigua! The food was amazing! hehe ;)

After that maybe I would pick the huge HD TV that my son had for his birthday courtesy of Cineworld. His bedroom now looks like a mini movie theatre haha. It was a life saver too because after the wedding and just buying a new larger house we was kind of strapped for cash.. so this really did come at the right time, even if it is a little big for a 12 year old ;) We did think briefly about selling and getting a smaller one for him but then thought why??? They money would have got a smaller one yeah with nothing left over so would have basically swapped his large one for a smaller one and what is wrong with an over the top win WINK WINK .. my sons now have "Movie Night" and his friends love coming round for a play on the PS3. We love it!!
